On September 19th and 20th, France and Europe will celebrate the “Heritage” days. The theme of this event, this year will be “Heritage of the 21st century, an history of the future”.
In Paris, you will have the opportunity to visit historical monuments, usually closed to the public, such as the presidential palace of the “Elysee”, the Bank of France, the hotel de Vogue and many others in every district of Paris. Many events will take place in new parks and contemporary buildings, showing how Paris adapts to the future while respecting its historical and cultural heritage. It will be free entrance for all of them, but long waiting lines can be expected.
You may find the list of monuments to visit and events to attend to, district by district, on the internet.
