Springtime is known to promote new art exhibitions in Paris, lasting from Spring to Fall. Paris is one of the great art capitals of the world. After visiting the most famous monuments and museums of the city, it might be interesting for our visitors to experience going to one or more of these exhibitions.
I would particularly recommend one of them for two reasons. The first one is that it’s an opportunity to admire the collection of 110 famous impressionist paintings of Samuel Courtaud, an industrialist and art sponsor. It’s the first time they are shown in Paris. The second reason is that it takes place in a new museum, built in 2006 by the luxury group LVMH to promote art and culture. The Foundation Vuitton was designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry and is a magnificent example of modern architecture. It’s located in the “Bois de Boulogne”, in Neuilly, the largest park of Paris. There is an easy access by metro or bus from the center of the city.
Very popular with kids, the “Jardin d’Acclimation” is a park located near the Foundation Vuitton, with a zoo, playgrounds, carousels, and workshops. If you are travelling with your children, this is the
place to go.
